The video was shown at Sketchbook Magazines Pop-up Shop in London last night. I wasn't there but I have been informed that it got a good reception. I hope some people who saw it will be making their way to this blog to check on the progress of the final film.
Anyway I have now posted the video shown last night on youtube for your viewing pleasure, enjoy.
Hi I'm Adam and this blog is a place where I will post anything and everything art related that I feel like sharing. I hope you enjoy it.

Pop-up Shop
After a long 3 days solid work I have finished the video to be shown on Sunday and flyers for shamless self promotion. I hope I get some feed back, is always nice to know what everyone thinks of the work I'm doing, good or bad.
I will be putting the video on youtube at some point this weekend so keep your eyes peeled and your nose to the ground or something similar.
Here is a still from the extra footage created specifically for this weekends video to whet your appetite.

I Can Fly...

Well the Girls rocket can. Two days the rocket landed, yesterday it began its journey through space, the final frontier. It may be a little backwards landing then flying, but that is how I like to work. Cheated a little bit with this one as I couldn't physically shoot it myself. Instead I took photos of the models and the backdrop and have manipulated them on the computer. Cutting as many corners as I can to try and get it ready by this evening. So feast your eyes on my photo manipulation. Is there a end to my talents I hear you ask. Well, yes, that is why I cheat.Working on more space flight shots and linking it in with the hand drawn animation today, should be fun!

OK Computer
After 8 hours sitting in front of my computer, animating over a shot of the landed Rocket, I have a massive headache and 8 seconds of animation to show for it. I feel very pleased with the work I have managed to do today despite the headache.I am feeling pretty happy about the video that I am putting together for Pocket Satellites gig on Sunday and after much musing I know exactly how I want it to look. Hopefully I can pull it off, I am on schedule so far which I am fairly certain has never happened beore on this project.
Anywho, here are a couple of stills from the animation I have put together today.Enjoy...
Moon Landing...
The Eagle has landed. One small step for a man, one giant leap for me and all that sort of thing. Finally finished shooting the rocket landing on the Moon after struggling to figure out how to make a dust coud effect.Spent ages trying to figure out how to paint cotton wool grey whilst making it still look like cotton wool. Turns out only a fool (me) would think it possible to paint cotton wool and still be able to make the most of its cotton wool type ability. The answer was much simpler, crush up some charcoal and rub it into the cotton wool and abracadabra, grey cotton wool!
Very pleased with the outcome, think it looks just right for the style of animation.
Pocket Satellite have asked me to put together what I have so far into a video to be looped at their upcoming gig on the 11th, Sketchbook Magazine Pop-up Shop in London. So I am currently adding some computer animated parts over the top of the moon landing of the Girl exiting the Rocket.
Here are a few shots of my work space and myself in "at work" poses! As you can see, its all very crude but I am currently happy with the results I have managed to get so far.
